NEW MODE: BOMB RUSH
Two teams and two bomb sites. Attackers plant a charge at both sites to win the round; defenders stop them by defusing either charge. Team Deathmatch puts the arena to a vote before every match.
The official servers went dark. Overdrive turned the lights back on, then kept building: Bomb Rush, XP, achievements and levels. Bring your Steam copy and drop in.
Press Download the kit at the top of this page. You get SMC-Overdrive-Kit.zip: the launcher and everything it installs.
In Steam, right-click Super Mecha Champions → Manage → Browse local files. Unzip the kit into the folder that opens.
A blue SmartScreen box may appear, because the launcher is not code-signed. Click More info, then Run anyway.
Say yes when Windows asks for permission. Steam starts the game, set up for Overdrive. From then on, Play is all it takes.

Two teams and two bomb sites. Attackers plant a charge at both sites to win the round; defenders stop them by defusing either charge. Team Deathmatch puts the arena to a vote before every match.

Every match earns XP, broken down line by line on the results screen. Your pilot levels up, the mech you piloted longest fills its own level bar, and weekly objectives and achievements pay out Meow Tokens and Crystals.

The lobby, menus, chat and battle HUD are rebuilt for PC and sized to your screen instead of stretched from a phone. Graphics go up to Ultra, with no frame cap and longer view distances.

Xbox, DualSense and Switch pads work natively, and every button can be remapped, separately on foot, in a mech and in a vehicle. Flight sticks and HOTAS can be mapped too.

Press Esc, hit the bug icon and say what happened. The report reaches the developer with your match, mech and game log attached, and bugs are fixed as they come in.

The launcher sets the game up for Overdrive and keeps the client current on its own. Want out? Uninstall puts your game back to stock.
